Fun fact: Pigs Fly Shop is obsessed with pickles!

Thought to have originated in Germany in the late 19th century, 'The Christmas Pickle' has made its way to The States, and not a moment too soon if you ask us!

This ornamental pickle is placed on the Christmas tree on Christmas Eve, as one of the decorations. On Christmas morning, the first child to find the pickle on the tree receives an extra present from Santa Claus or, is said to have a year of good luck! We like the luck and don't see why adults can't participate too! You can bet we will be!

These hand cut, tooled, painted, and sealed pickles are made to order from 1/8 inch leather and are crafted with quality leather working products. Measuring a little over 6 inches, each pickle is perfect hiding & hunting size! Tied to each with 100% all natural sisal twine is our own original "Christmas Pickle" poem. Exact color may vary slightly.

on merry Christmas Eve.

On Christmas Day when all awake,
begin the wild hunt!
